Guild of Cards
★★★★☆ 4.4
Guild of Cards is a roguelite deckbuilder that hits that 'one more run' nerve hard. You descend through a dungeon, picking up cards and relics that reshape how your deck plays. No two runs feel the same, and the risk-versus-reward choices between rooms are always interesting.
The card interactions are the fun part. Certain combos feel broken in the best way, and figuring out a new engine mid-run is genuinely thrilling. The interface is tidy and works well on a small screen, with big tap targets and clear icons.
It's a little grindy to unlock the harder difficulties, but the core loop is strong enough that we didn't mind. This one ate a whole weekend.
